Charity Tournament: Annie Duke Chosen To Organize 'Night of Poker' for Life Rolls On Foundation

One of the reigning poker star in the industry, Annie Duke, have been chosen to organize the first annual event of “Night of Poker” to be held on May 7, 2011 at Gardena, California. In fact, it is Life Roll which chose the Poker star to the said charity event. It is for the cause of raising funds to support Life Rolls On Foundation.

Life Rolls On Foundation assist young people with spinal cord injury. It was founded by Jesse Billauer, who wish to offer people suffering from the disease to have a new hope for the better future despite of the physical disabilities.

On the other hand, Annie Duke is a well known Poker PRO in the industry, she was also known to be a generous player for she aims to help others by building some charity tournament out of playing poker.

Annie Duke supported numerous charitable events such as the 'Ante Up for Africa' and the Annie Duke's Celebrity Poker Night at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. There are lots of charitable tournaments which the Poker Star is attending. It is indeed a good decision that she is chosen to organize such a tournament which aims in helping disabled persons.
The Night of Poker Organizers is hoping to gather generous professional players like Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Michael Mizrach, Erik Seidel, Phil Gordon, Joe Hachem, and many more. These PRO's is also the one who are allowed to the Ante Up for Africa 2010 to register a huge success.
For the first edition of the event, poker enthusiast and various celebrity players will be allowed to play at the tables of No Limit Hold'em of $225 buy-in. Prizes will be awarded to the best players to include the place for the World Championship of Poker in Las Vegas, T-Shirts and other prizes offered by the sponsors of the event including The Four of a Kind and The Royal Flush.
