Another event of poker is now being organized by Annie Duke that will be called A 'Texas Hold-Em Poker Tournament/Casino Night'. The said event will benefit 1736 Family Crisis Center, a non-profit organization aims to save lives of a domestic violence victims and homeless youths. The event will
be held at LA Center Studios in Los Angeles, California on 3:00 pm of May 14th 2011.
Annie Duke is a very well known celebrity poker player because of her winnings and contributions within the industry and also a Commissioner of Federated Poker League. She is passionate of joining charity tournaments that aims into helping needy people.

Beyond the glimpse of stardom of many celebrities, there are still a part of them that we can say they are looking back from where they started. This part is somehow their actions of being charitable whenever people needed help. Perhaps, being charitable can somehow help them to be known and be loved by people. Where they help people while gaining popularity with such actions.
April of this year, an event called “Legends Weekend: Celebrities for Charity” will be going to uphold by some of the well known celebrities mostly players from the industry of poker, basketball and other sports. These includes Shannon Elizabeth, Michael Clarke Duncan, Pierre Garcon, Lamaar Woodley, Jonathan Vilma, Leigh Bodden and James Ihedigho. The said event will be held at the Punta Cana, Cominican Republic, Starting on April 29 to May 1st of the year.
The event that will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is said to raise money in order to build hospital and school in devastated Haiti.

Five of the Famous poker player's today will soon visit Middle East to challenge the America's Armed Forces at the game of poker. The visit is a part of the first USO/Armed Forces Entertainment poker tour.
Poker PROS includes Annie Duke, Howard Lederer, Huck Seed , Tom Dwan, and Phil Hellmuth who will aim to bring the touch of homes to the troops.
The five player's will going to spend one week with the soldiers, answering their questions and trading each others secret. Along with it is Autographs signing, picture taking and teaching military personnel's on playing cards specifically poker.

March 21, 2011 – a memorable event took place at the Jason Kidd Foundation, wherein participants got the chance to hang out and gamble with the players of Dallas Maverick. This celebrity casino night was hosted by two popular personalities, Chris Arnold (sports broadcaster) and Kellie Rasberry (radio anchor).
In the said event, series of poker tournaments were held to benefit the Jason Kidd Foundation, a group that is dedicated in improving the education of children. The tourney was then led by Maverick star Jason Kidd, Dirk Nowitzki, Jason "Jet" Terry, J.J. Barrea, Shawn Marion and Tyson Chandler, together with Mark Cuban, the owner of Dallas Maverick.
What's really interesting in this project is that the foundation was capable in putting up an exciting raffle draw with gift boxes and Judith Ripka's jewelry bars as its prizes. There are also live and silent auctions being conducted, which the rewards include a free trip to New York Fashion Week and a single match against future Hall of Famer, Jason Kidd.
